I hear from women over and over again that they believe they’re not consistent with their wellness routine because they don’t have enough “discipline” or “willpower.”

“I should be able to do this on my own…”

“I just don’t understand why I can’t stick with it…”

“I’m successful at so many things, but this is my greatest failure…”

Hearing these things breaks my heart, because these beliefs come from a place of shame and self-blame.

And they simply aren’t true!!!

Nobody, nobody, nobody has discipline and willpower all the time. It’s natural to ebb and flow. It’s a NORMAL human condition.

The real reasons you stray from your wellness routine are much more complex and come from a subconscious place.

❤︎ Maybe you’re so busy taking care of everyone else you don’t have time for YOU…

❤︎ Maybe you feel guilty or selfish taking time for yourself…

❤︎ Maybe you’re eating to fill an emotional void – like loneliness or grief…

❤︎ Maybe it’s a diversion to combat stress or avoid dealing with uncomfortable emotions…

❤︎ Maybe it’s a self-soothing behavior, deeply rooted in past trauma…

Your outer world, including your habits and physical body, is a direct reflection of what’s going on INSIDE you.

Imbalances in your life are actually your “check engine” light to show you that deeper work is needed.

It’s only when you start to drill down to the ROOT of the issue, that you can start to heal and become healthy, inside and out.

I invite you to release the guilt and shame – these only hinder your ability to break unhealthy patterns. Get curious about what’s driving your actions.

With compassion. No judgement.
